In running Go Kiddy Karts we have recruited a number of staff to help us run the activities. We mainly recruit from Manchester University and also Parrs Wood High School (upper six formers). This has involved advertising within the University's job board and vetting the replies. We have interviewed, selected and trained suitable individuals for our copmany. We also recruit and train party hosts for the Trafford Leisure Comunity Trust, which we have a contract to supply go karting services to.
As we are able to offer more children's activities with potential new partners, we will continuely access our recruitment needs and also use existing staff to be retarined for any new activities. This should ensure that we have enough cover for all activities in the event of staff illness and unavailability, and offer our staff more varied employment. Many of the students we have had working for us are wanting a career in the care of children or the provision of activities so they are keen to broaden their horizons.
We can train any existing staff of our new partners and of course the new partners themselves. We have full manuals detailing the software and operational procedures that we have in place. The software makes running the activities very efficient and you will receive as much training as you need on the software.
We are members of the Manchester Chambers of Commerce and the Federation of Small Businesses and have discounted access to many types of training, such as first aid courses, health and safety at work and business development courses.
