SphereMania / Zorbing

Sphereing or Zorbing is essentially harnessing people inside a massive inflatable ball and rolling them down a hill! Tearing down a hill at speeds of up to 30 mph inside a 12 ft inflatable Sphere, it's unlike anything most people have ever experienced before!

There are quite a few different options. There is a national franchise called SphereMania that has opportunities in the Manchester area. There is an existing operation, Manchester South in Macclesfield, that is up for sale or there is a chance to open a new franchise anywhere 20 miles away from that existing franchise. The other option is to import direct from China the equipment and set up our own operation. A suitable venue will be sort and the activities run from there. This activity would work well if combined with the quads and Battlefield Live.

There are three different types of Sphereing / Zorbing:

Harness Sphereing - 2 people in each Sphere. They wear a climbing harness and this is attached to the inside of the Sphere. As the Sphere rolls down the hill, they are rolling over and over!

Aqua Sphereing - 1, 2 or 3 people in each Sphere. They wear suitable clothes to get wet in! They are not attached to anything inside the Sphere. As the Sphere rolls down the hill, they will be sliding around. Amazing Fun!

Eclipse Sphereing - 2 people in each Sphere. They wear a climbing harness and this is attached to the inside of the Sphere. As the Sphere rolls down the hill, they will be rolling over and over in the pitch black.
